Newscast on German television
One of the first HD channels in Germany was Anixe HD. I have never watched it, because it isn't a big channel with good programmes. Lately they introduced some new shows, which were produced by themselves. One of the new shows is a daily newscast.
As you can see the newsanchor reads out newspapers. She even decides which reports were read during the show. So funny and amateurish 
No big thing, but I wanted to share it with you.

Maybe they'd sign up Monkeee for AniXtra, seeing as they like cheap shows? 
Over here on the early morning news on a main terrestrial channel (ITV) the woman just sits there and reads out the headlines on the front of all the newspapers, and sometimes comments on them. This is a main news show (all be it at 5:30am) but even that seems really amateurish.
It's actually quite funny, as all their news shows at any other time of the day are professional, but this early morning one just shows all old reports from the night before, and has this woman (who doesn't even seem like a newscaster actually) linking the stories and holding up the newspapers

Try it out  I want to do a cooking show for them. Of course just reading the recipes and not cooking them.

and yay, so we are not the only country with great news shows on TV

I guess they don't have to put in much effort if they know not many people will be watching. Must entertain some people for it to still be on air!
