Re: The rest of Series 2 I couldn't believe stage one was over in about 2 thirds of an episode last night. Okay, there were only 6 (easy) obstacles, but still. They zoomed through all the contestants, not even having any breaks between one falling in the water and the next one starting off!

Re: The rest of Series 2 I think it may be the insanely high number of Stage 2 qualifiers in the early tournaments that caused these edits, as you may notice that the replays and profiles are mostly seen there, and they take 2-3 episodes to get through Stage 2 the way they would with Stage 1 in later tournaments.
Also, can you believe what happened in Tournament 3? FIVE men through to the Final Stage?
Poor Katsumi Yamada though. For all his dedication, that was the only time he got that far.
