German version
yeah.. Germany had a version of
I watched some videos on the G4 website and I saw some parts on the KHXtra and I knew that there was similar show in Germany. But I didn't remember the name
Then I watched the videos in the game section on the KH website and just when I watched the Daruma competition I remembered the name: it was "Champions Day" from 2001 and it was a flop (just 4 episodes)
I don't know if it is really a adaption, but well looks very similar.
Here a video on youtube:

Here is a page with some pictures, you will find a picture with a tower similar to Daruma:

Unfortunatelly the information on this website is wrong. The says that there were teams, but that's wrong (you don't team in the video), there was a special show that featured games for teams.
And according to that page (just text, no pictures) they also played Handwalk

Re: German version
We had a version on channel 5 called Under Pressure. It looked very similar to your version actually.

Yeah, it's defiantly Banzuke. There's a picture of the throwing-people-in-the-air-onto-cylinders-game (which I dunno the name of yet ).
at those Super Rider people. They were so bad!
I never even saw Under Pressure. Wonder what other countries had their own version?
