Re: Wipeout Australia
Ah. I see.
Ask them to show it at midnight when no ones watching and record it.
--- 'Wassuck' is an actual word from Black Country meaning 'fool'.

Re: Wipeout Australia
I think there'll probably be some moaning if they do show the Australian episode. It'll be a bit of a swizz.
...Mind you, most of the viewers probably didn't watch the Australian series anyway, so it won't matter!
Any idea if they had the Wipeout Bowl? It should be on Watch today, but it's only an hour ep scheduled, so it looks like they might be skipping it.

Re: Wipeout Australia
I don't think that any country that is airing the original Wipeout will broadcast the Wipeout bowl except abc cut it down. They won't change their schedules just to show one longer episode.

Re: Wipeout Australia
They did show it! And yep, it was a version specially edited into an hour. I never even thought about them doing that actually.
The Qualifier had contestants from both the half-time part and the regular part. Cursy Ali was in the half-time bit originally, wasn't she? Last night she was the very last contestant. The Johns even said that it's "our last contestant, Ali...", so they even re-recorded parts (if not all, as I'm sure most people's runs were shortened) of the voice-over.
The only person I remember that wasn't there last night was the man who gave up, but then all the football people cheered him on.
