Re: Washout... On the Wii

They must have based it on the French version, which is why it has the Ball Crusher, Hoop Sweeper etc. Although, will these be taken out of the Washout version? emoticon
Did the Amazon video have all the same clips of the game in?

They've sort of morphed the starting ramp with Human Pinball. It only has four bumpers, but I'm still impressed they've done that seeing as that was only from the pilot ep. THOUGH, I see Slippery Stairs. ARGH! And, what's the yellow glove on the Sucker Punch?

... Actually, saying that about Human Pinball; they have loads of Bumpers on the Killer Surf emoticon It must just be something to try and make it harder, rather than Human Pinball. Shame.

It does look.... Clumpy? Like something you'd have got on a PC ten or so years ago.

Strange the obstacles are as they should be, but looks like the UK music and graphics are used.

I love that the game looks harder to play than Washout in real life emoticon

Wait, did that say: "Create your own course"?

That better not mean that you choose the obstacles that you want to use. I want to create obstacles! But that probably won't happen. emoticon

'Wassuck' is an actual word from Black Country meaning 'fool'.

Soz, Double Post again:

Got the game! So how is it?

Well, on the Main Menu you get three options:

PLAY THE SHOW
CREATE YOUR OWN SHOW
BONUSES

In Play, you get the choice of four characters to play from, with 2 being unlockable. You then play through some episodes with 6 contestants in the Qualifier

In Ceate, you use the unlocked obstacles to choose an episode with new combinations

In Bonuses, you play Infinite versions of The Sweeper and two others:

Things I have currently unlocked:

Slippery Stairs
Ring Swing (Bubble Bath)
Classic Sweeper
Tippy Tables (hurray, there's 4 instead of 2)
Infinite Sweeper... WITH TWO ARMS!!!! so a Double Sweeper really

Things I have seen:

Hurtle Turtles (Dirty Balls)
Ball Swing (Fieldgoal)
Ball Crusher!!!!!!
Crazy Beams

Overall, it's fun to play but with an annoying co-host, no, it's not Amanda Byram, it's a great game for £25

Kieran's Obstacle Rating: King of The Mountain - Average/Good

Actually doesn't sound too bad. Is Hammond in it? That would change my oppinion to: "Actually, it does sound bad".
So the co-host isn't do to with anything, and is just some random woman? Suppose, seeing as it's exactly the same as the French game, they've just used the same chracter but added an English/French voice-over.

What else is in Bonuses? Just Sweepers? And does the Zone change at all, or is it always exactly the same?
Aaaaand, what music have they used, for intros and background music? Don't suppose it's the original American ones?

Double Sweeper = good idea. They should do that in real life. Have one high arm and one lower arm - so you have to duck one and jump the other. That'd be good (as a variation)!

Hammond only does a Welcome to The Ultimate Red Ball Challenge spiel

NEW OBSTACLES!

Walk of Shame/Buoy Run

everyone's favourite... the Leap of Faith

For the 3rd Sweeper round it's the Double Sweeper

On the Dummy is a wierd floating hurdles thing

and in the bonus with Infinite Sweeper is Infin. Barrel Run and Inf. Sucker Punch

EDIT!: The TV intros are used and music (including my favourite Washout Music, The Sucker Punch Music). The zone is always the Old Old
