Wipeout Turkey - Series 2 with new US obstacles

No full episode, but some clips up on the official site (though mainly mix VTs, rather than pure footage):
http://www.wipeoutturkey.com/videolari.asp

And 15 minutes of behind the scenes stuff here.

Definitely looks like this was filmed immediately after the UK second series though on the same course - so no surprise rather than taking the opportunity to have the new course, the UK decided to use the old course and let the revamp take place after filming! In the first few clips the old Wipeout Zone is visible in the background, with the UK "brusher" and things like the Keg and Sweeper dumped on the floor. King of the Mountain is set up though.

From what I can make out the first episode was:

Qualifer: Tipsy Towers, Sucker Punch, Big Balls + Motivator, Swing Set (standard)
King of the Mountain
Dizzy Dummy 2.0: (Spinner: Bungee web) Sack Launch / Zig Zag Buoy Run
Wipeout Zone: Aqua Launch, Raging Rapids, Crazy Sweeper, Bumper Turntables

It looks good! So pleased to see the new stuff in Argentina.

I wonder why the 'Brusher' and stuff is still laying around? Surely it'd have taken at least a few days to change the whole Zone. Maybe they did only change one Zone, so the log was just laying around for the original Zone, and Turkey went over to the second course just to film their finals?

Can't see why they'd do that, but I can't see how they'd have built all the new obstacles within the time it took to film the one Turkish episode either. It's strange.

Pleased they used the Sack Launch! I wanted to see that used again.

Looks like next weeks includes the Breakaway Planks, Trapeze Swing Set and Squeeze Wall on the Dizzy Dummy.

I wonder if the international versions my try some variations of King of the Mountain - definately seen it with and without donuts in the preview clips, but as I've posted before it's not too difficult to make a few more variations - and if the international series end up using it every week, it'll need them.

13 episodes of King and Dizzy Dummy is going to get pretty boring. Especially if they don't have some variations on King as you say.

They don't have the orange lifejackets this time! Hooray! I know they used them last time, the same as Washout. This time they look like the regular American ones, thankfully. Let's hope they've dumped the orange ones.
Expect they'll still show up on Washout next series though. emoticon

How much would you love the Motivator to go off, right about now?:

Yeah - they can get away with the same Wipeout Zone each week (with variations) but they definately need an alternative to Dizzy Dummies, even if just the Dreadmill.

As for King of the Mountain, I suppose you could argue they used the Sweeper every week in series 1, but that's with variations - and I think dropping the Sweeper entirely from a second series isn't wise.

Qualifier definately needs something alternating with the Swing Set too - personally I'd go for the Log Roll. I don't think the Hurtles would work as the final obstacle.

Assuming that they just updated one course or that the second course were updated the same way, the best thing would have been just updating half of the course and not changing the Sweeper for the first half. And then they could mix them similar to the USA.

They don't seem to have put a preview up for this week, so I guess we'll have to wait and see what they use.

Seems virtually impossible to find any clips or episodes of this series around online too - quite a few around of the first series, including full episodes, but nothing so far for series 2.
