Re: Going Uni K Bye!
For how long will you be leaving us? You're studying Japanese, too as you said some time ago, right? Good luck then . Hope you'll be back soon.

Pff, I'm so jealous of you You’ll be all Japanese expert and I only just know enough to understand Haromoni and a couple of things they say. You smell. Fact.

Re: Going Uni K Bye!
Be happy you at least can understand Haromoni. I can only understand a few bits of Japanese cause I'm teaching myself. The signs are really hard. Currently I'm learning some Hiragana, after that I'll try to memorize Katakana. Then I'll start with Kanji (which can take a loooooooooooooong time...). But speaking the language is most important and thx to the Hepburn-signs I can learn Japanese without knowing Kanji, Hiragana or Katakana. And the grammar isn't that hard to learn (luckily). The Japanese aren't that hard with their grammar as we in Germany are .
@keke: Wish you good luck. I hope you've enjoyed the beach party

Go-séiko o! You'll make it, I'm sure. I've already finished school (Abitur) but I'm sure you'll also be successful. Don't study too much or you head will explode . Just put a Tani-picutre onto you desk during the exams and you'll do very well *g*.

Re: Going Uni K Bye!
Go séiko o! in English means "good luck!" or in German "Viel Erfolg!"
I'm sure you'll make it. If you've been good in the classes before and have always taken part the final exams won't be that hard (at least they weren't that damn hard for me and I didn't learn very much for the final exams cause I've always learned before). But if you've been ill often it may become difficult. I didn't have to practice that much cause our teachers were pretty good and gave us good instructions the years before and I've always learned a bit every year. Learning all at once will never work. It's simply too much.

I'm teaching myself (or was, haven't learned anything for a few weeks as I can't seem to remember any more ) too, but yeah, I'm happy I can at least understand some stuff
I learned all the Hiragana and Katakana so I can read everything written in it, and getting faster at reading it too. Just there are 4 or 5 I have to sit and think about. Like Hiragana's re and wa. I just have to remember that the "wa" has a "u" in it, like I know the Katakana "wa" is basically a "u", lol! And I always forget Katakana's "nu", and have to think about Hiragana's "nu" and "ne"!
... If that makes any sense
I know a few Kanji, like the numbers, days, times, month, year... and fish... Double the days cos they mean sun, moon, fire, water, earth/tree, metal/gold, dirt too But yeah, they're too complicated!! That's always where I get stuck on Haromoni. They put up kanji that isn't a number, time, date or day and I'm just Oh, and not watashi too.
