You must have had the sun where you are then, because this month there have been more rainy/dull days here than sunny ones. Yeah, a few month ago it was sunny.
Anyway, I always thought the seasons were
Spring: March, April May
Summer: June, July, August
Autumn: September, October, November
Winter: December, January, February.
3 months in each, simples.
