I've never used either one of those. I've only ever used Avid Cinema on my school's ancient macs and Pinnacle Studio 9 on my own custom computer.

Seriously?
Dude, Final Cut 4.1.whatever (HD edition) and Premier Pro 1.5 are easier to use, and in many cases, have more features than AVID.
Man, those are some old school programs...
