I am the Prinny of Antioch, dood!
Yo!
I shall introduce myself then.
I am a guy who loves games, science, and animation. And food.
I am a game designer.
My hobbies include playing and making games, watching anime/reading manga, chillin with friends, surfin the web.
My skills include writing, programming, drawing, mathematics (especially calculus), kenjitsu, fencing, physics (I love me some physics).
My favorite programming language is C++.
My favorite food is sushi, and my favorite drink is ginger ale.
My favorite color is blue.
If you get the joke in my member ID, you are probably a cool person.
I love to talk about stuff. Unless I'm really busy at the time, I'll answer any question you ask me.
I want to make some things perfectly clear, though. Do NOT call me a fanboy, for am I am a fanboy of nothing (except Disgaea). Do NOT call me an otaku, it upsets me and suggests fanboy-ism.
(Also, please, please, PLEASE change my forum title! Make it Metal Spiral, please.)
I change my avatar and signature weekly.
I'll add more as I think of it

Re: I am the Prinny of Antioch, dood!
Hmmm... what games have you worked on, and where can we check them out?
I was studying game design for a little while, but I decided (despite acceptance) not to go to DigiPen because I didn't have the drive for it at the time.
As soon as I get my bussiness really going on its own (mostly) I'm considering studying it again... since I love the area in Washington, particularly the areas around (but not in) Seattle... which includes DigiPen, I might one day go there.
I've never done much in the way of graphic oriented coding though, since I'm mostly self-taught. I have done some really complex **** involving allow custom variables made on the fly via user imput or reading a reference file, then restructuring the entire program based off a series of user options, and even a C++ program which asked them to enter a formula, or series of formulas, and then programmed a C++ program, compiled it, and allowed them to run it at will to execute the formula (asking for the number imputs, it could find the missing variable... ie, the total, or one within the formula if you had the total, thus solving it)
That program took me like 3 weeks of hard labor to complete, and was a large contributor to my no longer liking math (which is what took my game design drive out of me).
But it got me an A+ in both my Trig and Intro to C++ classes! (My C++ teacher was like, "*******it, I'm happy you went through all this work, but I didn't want to read like 50 pages of code for a 2 page project!" )
I'm not sure he ever read it, but he did show the class the program (they promptly hated me). Most importantly, I had fun though.

Actually, I'm a newb designer.
I'm working for a company called EvilBlue Studios
We haven't published anything yet, but we have HUGE ambitions... HUGE I say! Right now, we're building our brand-new engine, and it's lookin' pretty sexy.

Re: I am the Prinny of Antioch, dood!
Yeah, its pretty cool you're starting up like that... I'm starting a comic/cartoon/otaku novelty bussiness myself, called Otakus of Doom Entertainment...
Our website is www.otakusofdoom.com, but we barely have anything up yet, and I just found out my main artist can't work for us for like 7 months!!!
So I'm in desperate need of a very good cartoon artist, mainly one who can do a style similar to common anime styles. Later we fully intend to branch into any cartooning style our artists/authors do/want, but for now our first work is to be anime-ish.
Anyhoo... I'm putting up our submissions page today, so if anyone's interested in being an author or artist in a professional manga/comic (authors have full creative control of their projects... joo ownz de artist we stick you with) please submit a story/sample to us.
I'm going to include the poor man's method for protecting yourself from copyright theft as well, so anyone who's nervous about submitting something via the net or mail can be safe, whether its submitted to us or anyone else.
Anyhoo x2, going to go write that page now.
