My handle is Sideswipe, and I'm a writer/artist trying to make it out there in the world. If you can't tell from the avatar, I'm a big fan of the Transformers series (yes, even though I'm 23). I collect the toys and the comics, and I watch the Japanese version of the most recent incarnation of TF's: Super Link.
As far as non-Transformer likes go, I'm really into the anime/manga One Piece.
Only pets I have are 2 fish, which don't really have names.
That's all I can think of for now. Kinda too tired to even think straight.

Which part of the planet are you from?
And I kinda prefer the classic Transformers... back in the olden days when they made Grimlock and the Constructicons. Back when Megatron was a gun and they never explained how he went from human sized to HUGE. And someone got away with making a robot that became a BOOM BOX. And every day it was Starscream's "time of the month."
Ahh... the good old days. When cartoons made you think... "Someone better buy me that for Christmas!"

Oh yeah, I'm up in Canada. Ottawa to be precise.
It's funny how often people bring up Megatron's size-changing. Those were the good days back then, when toy guns were alright for kids to play with.

GI Joe rocked... BEFORE Sgt Slaughter and that ABOMINATION of a movie.
And you gotta love the "And now you know, and knowing is half the battle" bits at the end....
...even though when I say that to people they have NO clue what I'm saying.

Transformers did that on occasion, too. ^_^
When you unlock stuff in the new game, clips of "now you know" with the autobots can be viewed.
If a 30 ft robot lumbered by warning me not to play near construction sites, I'd run for my life and never look back. ;p

Those public service announcements are the funnniest things I've ever seen. I like the one when the kid tries to "steal" Tracks. I'd avoid cars for a long time if the car I was trying to steal changed into a robot and told me I shouldn't do that.
I was never much into GI Joes, and I agree with why would agree with the comment on GI Joes and Transformers teaming up. If I was Megatron, I'd just blow all of Cobra up.
Oh and the orange tip on Megatron would be his arm cannon I believe. Wish I actually owned the original, but it goes for way too much.
