CONTEST #2 10/06/04 - 10/29/04
This is contest #2. For those of you who don't remember, contest #1 was to give us a new slogan... of course, there wasn't too many entries because no one was reading us back then.
But this is #2...
Have you ever thought to yourself "I never win NOTHING!"?
Well... here's your chance to win NOTHING! That's right! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! Woo woo!
From now till Midnight, October 29th, we're going to accept entries in this comic. Here's what you need to do:
1. Look at the comic here: http://marachan.keenspace.com/contest.html
2. Come up with something funny to fill in the blanks. Or maybe something really cool. We don't care, as long as it rocks.
3. Email us what goes in each numbered word balloon. You don't have to edit the picture, just write out "1. A fake title" "2. I'm saying this" etc... If you want to post it in our forums, you can do that too. Email to marachancomic @ earthlink . net. You may want to put your name on it, but you don't have to.
4. Dottie and I will judge which entries we think are best, and the revised comic will appear as an Omake in early November. That's it. That's your prize. NOTHING! If you're lucky we'll mention your name, but don't count on anything cuz YOU'RE WINNING NOTHING! Hey, we may pick a couple of em! You never know!
5. Go back to your normal life. The contest will be over and you can stop thinking about it.
You can enter as much as you want, but only one entry per email please. Try to keep it PG-13... We'll accept R-rated entries, but we may have to censor it down to PG-13. All entries become our property and we can do with em what we want and you'll still get nothing. Make sure to enter by midnight October 29th! Remember, this is for FUN and you're not competing to win anything.

And the winner is...

His comic actually made us both laugh, and for that he wins the grand prize of...
NOTHING!
You've officially WON NOTHING!
Congrats!
Although we did have a hard drive failure, he had been picked as the winner this past weekend out of the hundreds... er... well, half-dozen entries we got.
Jade came up with the most unusual entry... hers was entirely in Chinese... and she refused to translate it for us. I lost the file with that one too. -_-
There were others we were going to mention and post, but unfortunately... well... my hard drive bit the big one.

I think it's definately only funny in Chinese.
