Triple Threat Photoshoot $10 mostly reusing old materials/costumes from 2003
Valentines Day photoshoot Hakkai and Shinobu probably at least $37
MegaCon Hikaru no Go $10
Ft Desoto Photoshoot Bisuke, Sasuke, $35, $5
Cosplayer Trialthlon Mario $10 (mostly scrap fabric)
JACON Chun Li and Milfeulle and Rosette $30+$45+$5 (lots fo reusing of old cosplay supplies)
MetroCon Rock Lee, Lei Fang, Ranpha, Miyu, Card Captor Sakura $20+$15+$15+$20+$45 (reusing)
AFO Shia $25 (reusing old stuff)
Ghetto competition Dejiko $16
Traditional Japanese Photoshoot Kurenai, Flying Snow, Soujiuro $15+$55+$31
Anything Goes Maya Natsumi $50
OtakuCon Inner Sakura Nami $35+$30
Total costuming for the year is $559 (over estimating a little because a lot of reuse of old wigs and borrowing wigs from friends, but probably forgetting little things too)

MegaCon $30(ticket)+$45x2 (hotel)+$25 (gas)+$50 (food)
JACON $30x2(ticket)+$45(hotel)+$25(gas)+$40(food)
MetroCon $25x2(ticket)+$25x2(hotel)+$20(gas)+$40(food)
AFO $45x2 (ticket)+$25x2(hotel)+$25(gas)+$40(food)
OtakuCon $35x2(ticket)+$0(hotel)+$25(gas)+$40(food)

photoshoot gas around $80 and spent about $80 costs
Total=$1025

Don't actually purchase things in dealer's room. Because... no $$
But probably realistically add around $80

I probably have around $200 in materials. Gotta add $600 to this year’s cosplay stuff for camera expenses. So total around $2200 probably around $2500 for random $$

Total $2500

Hmmm that explains the very very little $$ I have in the bank emoticon No $$ to spend this year! At least all my cosplays are ghetto emoticon

I don't cosplay...and this very easily could be the reason why.

Hey now, you weren't supposed to spend anything on the ghetto costume. emoticon (That was probably the sitting fee and lunch, right?)

Man, I don't even want to think about how much $$ we have wrapped up in cosplay stuff. We try to keep all the costumes in the $30 and under range (which doesn't always work), but even that adds up. Luckily, we can often get press passes to the various conventions, and the kids haven't reached paying age yet. Whew!

Mitylene, I think working in the Dealers Room or otherwise volunteering would reduce your ticket costs. You may not be able to do it for every con, but any little bit helps.

Yeah I didn't spend anything on Dejiko reuse old materials but I like to add on the cost of the wigs I already own or shoes or some random stuff on my costumes sometimes or else I think other people would wonder like how I threw together Costume x for like $5 or $8. emoticon

Yeah I think I am just going for less days. Because it's exhuasting going for 3 days. I wouldn't even go theme park bopping for 3 days in a row why cons emoticon? And that saves on a whole night of hotel costs.

I just don't have enough time to volunteer and I am usually not in the area to go to volunteer meetings. -.-;
