Re: AX!!
She didnt mean any offense. We just know you're from CA...
...and you're very vociferous. We were just wondering if you talk real fast, or a lot in real life.

Re: AX!!
I didn't take offense, rather, I was honored. Sorry if it didn't sound that way... it really touches my heart that someone would refer to me. (be it good or bad)
Actually, I've been considering going to AX also... very seriously, since Fanime basically sucked, and anime once a week is just not enough... (when new eps come out)
And yes, although it has nothing to do with California, I am quite the prolific verbalist. In fact, I lost my voice no less than 3 times at Fanime, despite drinking plenty, and sleeping normally. I also didn't sit down for more than 5-10 minutes each 5-6 hours... (I love to stand, particularly to walk... keeps me energized)
Lucky me, most of the people I went with love to listen to me talk, cause I crack them up (other than all my self-injury stories, I guess I'm just funny, even when I don't mean to be...).
I'm totally honest though... I sort of have a motto, "There's no such thing as too-much-information..." which both drives my friends nuts and gets laughs.
I'm a very good listener though, because I know how frustrating it can be when someone won't let you talk (being someone who loves to talk) so I always give my conversation partner(s) equal chance... but you have to take it, no shyness!
Well, I'll have to check in on the details of when the next AX is... but its actually only somewhat likely I'll be going if its this summer... not for lack of money now, but since I intend to use that money to pay my artist, and to pay for the printing costs of our first volume(s).
Digital Panic (Parody/Romance-Comedy)
and
Ten Go Sei [Five Stars of Heaven] (Romance-Comedy/Study of human nature/Study of human sexuality [not porn, maybe ecchi... MAYBE...])
are our first two projects I'm having the artist get ready for... I'm writing Ten Go Sei, and I must say, it is probably my best work by far. Digital Panic is being written by "The Collector" of the Otakus of Doom (Watcher[me], Reader, Collector), who was, oddly enough, the most resistant of the two others to actually participate in the start of the company.
All it took was a hint of an idea, and he took it and made it his own... his ideas are incredibly funny and ingenious... and he's following my guidelines of keeping believability in the sci-fi/fantasy elements with excellent results (I cannot stand any power/science that isn't explained, or at least where the 'universe' isn't explained in such a way where its believable)
