Name for Anime Club...
Heym I'm kinda starting an Anime club, and I cant think of a decent name for it. I could really use some suggestions, since mt brain is on the fritz.
So, you guys have any ideas?

It depends on what kind of things you want to focus on. It used to be anime clubs were just that... anime clubs. Now since anime is so common, you may need or be able to focus on one thing... like action or comedy...
Also, think about if you want it to be known by your area (makes it easier to get members when you have a name people can recognize as being local).

My Anime and Manga Clubs are the...
CRC (Cosumnes River College) Anime Club
and
CRC Manga Club
Its simple, we get plenty of members.
We have 2 hour meetings every Wednesday, and next semester (since we couldn't get an advisor for it this semesteR) we are having an additional 3 hour weekly 'viewing only' meeting.
We start out by talking about any new club stuff and events... then we watch the first ep of some series, new or old, that we haven't watched in Club yet. 3 eps/series later, we talk about what we watched.
The 'viewing only' meetings are when we are going to actually continue on a single series, rather than just previewing everything and talking about it.
Last semester, it was just too little time to watch more than a 13 ep series in a month with only 2 hours a week, and about 40 of that just news and stuff.

We haven't set up the domain yet for the Manga forum, but we already have one webcomic creator... DR of Geek something or the other... (I'm told its really good, I'm just working through a lot of stuff right now, and haven't checked it out yet)
Feel free to talk about your favorite Manga or Webcomics, and also feel free to diss the ones you hate... I got topics for everything.
If we get enough webcomic artists/writers/creators, then I'll setup a seperate forum or sub-forum for them specifically to yak.
