New Scanner
Yes, we aquired a new scanner for the comic (and Dottie's other artwork).
For those who know scanners, this one is the Hewlett Packard Scanjet 4370. It's 48bit, 3600x7200 resolution (optical) and can even do slides and negatives ("What are slides and negatives?" you may ask, since everyone owns a digital camera now. Well... ok, so I'll never use that part either, but it's there just in case.
It doesn't have a name yet. My old computer where the first year of the comic was made was named Osaka. The current computer is named Chiyo-chan (it's smarter than Osaka and doesn't lock up as much). The laptop is Nezumi (Japanese for 'mouse'). The old laptop was named 'cheap-ass piece of crap I got free from my mom'
