What I did on my summer vacation

I'm on vacation this week and decided to go through the comics, cleaning things up, straightening up the site and all...

I finally combined and organized all the (existing) artwork for the comic and found out:

#15 panel 4, #17, #31 bacground, #35 panel 4, #54, #55 (panels 1 & 2) are missing! The art appears to be gone forever. Luckily I have decent scans.

#'s 56, 60, 62, 70, 71, 77, 89, 95, 102, 113, 118, 119 were made completely from previous art. These are the ones we 'cheated' on.

There is almost no original art for omakes, since they're mostly random things... I did find some though. I haven't gone through the omake list.

I found at least 2 new pieces of art we never used (one MAY be used tonight).

I found all the art for the comics where I lost the original scans due to a hard drive crash (comics 42-48). Any omakes from then are gone.

Comic #3 was the only comic not scanned at at least 200dpi. All current comics are scanned at 300dpi.

Comic 1-23 don't have numbers, but only have titles in a box on the left.

Comics 24-53 have the smaller b&w headlines, with the number and title on the top right.

Comic 54-current have a larger blue headline with the red 'Mara-chan!' on the left, title and number on the right.

Omakes vary, I didn't check those.

I'm re-doing comics 1-23 to match the current and to convert to a 300dpi (printable) version... 24-53 will get updated later, with 54-122(current) being updated even later. Comics from 123 on will be made at 300dpi...

...in case you were wondering, I scan the comics high, clean them up, resize to 72dpi and then assemble. From now on I'm gonna scan em at 300dpi, clean them up, assemble them THEN resize to 72dpi so I have a high quality original and a web-quality one.

Maybe someday we'll print them in a book.

I wonder if anyone read this. ^^;
