Regarding your rant...
Hey! I, for one, am incredibly grateful that I can get myself a couple of burrito supremes at 2am!  I'm usually awake at that hour, since I work 3rd shift, and I'll get a craving for food I don't personally have to fix (nuke) on my nights off. At that hour, though, my choices are limited: Steak and Shake (too expensive, and takes too long for a quick bite), White Castle (uh, right...no thanks!), and Taco Bell. That's pretty much it, though I've heard that some McD's have started keeping their drive-thru's open later.
Still, I'll take a burrito supreme over a Big Mac any day. 
Yeah, I'm a fast-food junkie, but not a stoner.

Most of the McD's around us are 24 hour (or will be).
The thing that worries me is the "Fourth Meal" thing... American's can't get fat enough on three meals, so we need a fourth. feh.
We just did overnights at work (10pm - 6am). We got hungry about 1-2am. NOTHING was open except the 24 hr McD's. Pizza stopped at 11 (WHAT?!?). TacoHell at 1. So if we didn't order food early, we were screwed.

Okay, you have a point about the Fourth Meal. For me, a burrito at 2am is more like my second meal.
Though most nights, I'm at work at that time, and I can't leave the store unattended to run out to grab a bite to eat, even just across the street to the McDonald's drive-through. And by the time the customers leave me alone enough to even think about eating, there's no chance for a pizza delivery.
"Luckily," I still have a wide variety of food choices among the merchandise we sell. There's no problem with me grabbing something to eat from the shelves, so long as I save the wrapper and pay for it when the morning shift arrives. I put "luckily" in quotes becaust almost all of what we sell is basically junk food. Chips, candy, Krispy Kremes, beef jerky, and the like. We do have some regular grocery items, but not much I can prepare and eat quickly on-site. Okay, we have "fresh" sandwiches and frozen dinners, but they get really, really boring after a while, even if the customers allow me the time to heat them up and eat them before they get stone cold again. More often, I'm allowed to heat them up, and just as the microwave beeps, a bunch of customers swarm in and wander around for the next three years or so...okay maybe not *quite* that long. 
How did this turn into a rant about work? ^_^;

It's the place for rants... feel free.
My old work we had Kazu's sushi next door (YUMMMM!!!), the mall (Chinese, Subway, Chick-fil-a, hot dogs, pizza), and across the street is BK, Steak-n-shake, KFC, etc...
My Current work has a crappy chinese place (their rice sucks!), Atlanta bread ($$$$), Starbucks (no thanks, I have a soul), or Wendy's.
So I used to go to wendy's.
It got OLD.
There's a publix not too far I can get a deli sandwich from, but it's hard to time.
