The Crow is Warming Up, I feel it
We haven't had much to crow about, but I am patiently waiting and when there is once I get back from the celebration I will post it here, I promise. ;)
I am excited that I have found a therapist for my oldest, he is going, he likes the guy a whole bunch and I think it's something he needed. With him taking what happens with his Dad and our family the hardest, it's nice for him to have a guy who he is comfortable to sit and gab with. That alone makes the visit worth it in my book.

Re: The Crow is Warming Up, I feel it
My prayers will be with your son
It is so hard on boys when their
dad slips into a bottle, I know..
we pretty much went through
the same thing here in my home :(
My oldest boy is also 17 and he and his
dad never were able to become real
friends, I will never understand that :omg:
It is a natural thing to cherish a child
given to you by God, and yet I never
saw that with my boys and their dad.
All the kids are my best friend...
I never seemed to notice what
was NOT happening between them
and their dad, I feel like I neglected
the whole seen, yet I know in my
heart I didn't. It is so hard~~~~
When ya need to hide your own
pain for the sake of the children...
ya seem to forget what your own
needs are and ya get so used to
putting yourself last that now the
kids keep ya there cause they
believe that is how it is suppose
to be, grrr cry cry cry
I will pray for you and your
family, I really know how you feel...
if ya went through or even maybe
still going through our same battles...
I am so happy to hear your son has
found a friend!! That is so great :)
you are doing a fine job, and yes...
ya might have bad days and feel
this was your choice and that is so...
so not true, never was I am sure
and I am certain.. If ya had to
do it again you would...
JUST with experience this time
around, ya think?, lol
keep up the good job.
I am so glad I got this chance
to meet ya and pray we can
be each others spirit lifters.

Re: The Crow is Warming Up, I feel it
Peggy, thank you- that post from you came at just the right time. It's nice to find someone who does understand. Yes if I had to do it all over again, I would in a second- the kids are my life- but I would be first in line to take the trip with experience. We've learned alot and even with the chaos me and the boys have always been close & we are a team. There is nothing we can't get through- we have a little more inspiration now, as we have a new team member their sister Olivia and for her we have to stay close & love each other and do our best. She was the glue we needed.
Your post touched me Peggy, thank you. So glad you found us and I have a pretty good ear and alot of understanding for situations like ours. There is nothing that can shock me so don't be afraid to share when you need a lift. I am here for you too.
