ME STRESSED.............
......up since 6.30am working on local parish stall at a 'car boot sale' (garage sale in US) for our local school in the pissing rain and NE wind....then home around noon to a totally mad house with nothing ready for hols, place a tip, no packing, kids wound up to the hilt.........savagely pre-menstrual also btw.......roaring and bawling at kids and hubby ( i heard 'yes dear' several times) ...I swear I was on the verge of froathing at the mouth (no filth now bob...).............
..........the chardonnay is going down well, the bags are packed-ish, the house is still a tip for in-laws staying....ah heck...it'll be better tomorrow....taking 4 young kids travelling all day through airports to arrive at our house around midnight.....won't it......WON'T IT??????? grrr.....growl.......froth......

I can't even imagine packing for something like that and then have the extra stuff to boot, froth away- but it's going to be so worth it once you get to the destnation. Can't wait to hear about everything upon your return!!

Well in the door a few hrs ago and absolutely wrecked!!!
We got in late to Dublin last night so had a stopover in a hotel - here's what happened....at 8am (we got to bed after 1am) this morn the housekeeping opened the door and hollered in ‘hello’ – we had 2 interconnecting rooms so the kids were all in one room and they opened their door! I was horrified and stated this! The receptionist said 'oh its normal practice for housekeeping to open bedroom doors to check if occupied' - not when I'm bloody paying for them it isn't!! I demanded a mgr ring me to explain. Anyway the mgr rang back this evening and was v.apologetic and is giving us a free stay next w/end (we’re taking our son up to a concert for his b/day). God – kids being abducted all over the place and they just go opening doors!!!
Otherwise a lovely break - straight back to work tomorrow!!

So glad you had a great time~ and I would have come unglued if someone would have come in the door in light of recent events...
We are definitely glad you are back~ now if we could just get you and your brother to cut us a break on the trivia ~ we're all set :)
