The AB "C"ecret Mission
Been working on the ABC's with Olivia when we travel in the car and tonight we have finally hit pay dirt ~ she knows them all up to tonight she always said them with me but not on her own. Tonight she flew solo and I have to get the cam out because her l, m, n, o, p is the best. Not sure when the boys had theirs down ~ she'll be 2 the end of September so I think she got an earlier start with saying them to completion compared to them. Hoping this is a good sign for reading.
I tested her a little bit saying 3 letters in a row farther through the alphabet and she can continue if she hears 3 from that point. It seems to me the boys said them fairly early but I think for a good long time they always had to start at A to get through them.
The boys were blown away ~ they read with her alot and see me reading with her but they didn't know of our secret alphabet mission~ so it was pretty cool for her to blow their minds especially because they have been gone a little over a week.
