Year and a Half Check Up
She's happy & healthy- so I am pleased and realize what a blessing that is. Two shots today, she wasn't pleased- but she handled it pretty well considering. By the time we got back to the car she had her composure back. We both came back to the house and took a little siesta. I haven't had a nap during the week forever, it felt great! She went to bed early tonight as well.
I worry about the shots /innoculations, but it is something I have always had done. She has handled them well to date. All of mine have luckily.
She'll only have one at her 2 year, her second Hep. So that one shouldn't be too bad.
Was also glad to hear her breath holding incidents should start to diminish. If she gets worked up / takes a hard fall she holds her breath. She has actually passed out on me twice. Until her I have never experienced that- talk about scarey. We touched base on it today. They asked if it had happened recently, luckily it hasn't and they said it should happen less as she gets older. She is going to be into everything this summer so I haven't crossed it off my list of worries, hoping though we won't have another incident though.

Re: Year and a Half Check Up
As susidfloosey mention in her post, she is having one of those weeknds with her child and we might have stumbled into that here as well. My little gal is cranky as all get out today, she never is, so I am guessing she is off because of her shots. Hoping after this nap we can get out in the back yard and play a bit and that will take the edge off.

I would guess that the shots are one of therasons behind the crankiness. If she can have it, you might consider a little infant ibuprofen/motrin. It might help her achiness. :)

Re: Year and a Half Check Up
I just topped her off with a dose prior to her nap, hoping it will help and I think when she wakes up if she seems to be in the mood being outside should help a bit too. It's too beautiful not to be out there for at least a little bit. And I know it will put her in "coma" mode for tonight, she'll hopefully sleep like a stone.
