Curfews are still appropriate, and since school has started I see way too many students who are sleep deprived. Sso keep up the good work. Besides some of us adults have to go to work and I am a grumpus without enough sleep

With school in session now ~ I don't like to have visitors through the week after dinner time. Now if someone's folks aren't home and they wanna eat here and hang out I will permit that. But I like the kids home through the week having a good dinner (sometimes it's delivery pizza, lol) and craziness ~ we keep it pretty calm (unless someone cuts their cast off). Friday and Saturday evening they can run if they like I prefer them home by 11:00-12:00 or if they have something special later but it has to be pretty special. My 17 year old thinks I have totally lost my mind ~ but I stick firm with it and he has stayed out of trouble ~ so for us it works.
Fortunately the kids enjoy hanging here so pretty much each weekend the boys host poker tournaments or we'll have a movie night and it works out pretty well. Major neighborhood meltdown tonight ~ Zak isn't here and I said no poker this weekend. They thought last night it would be blown over by now... but I allow the kids to hang out here and keep an eye on them feeding everyone, I would think one other parent could do the same one weekend.
