Bomb Squad / ATF were in my neighborhood
Wow ~ the world is going nuts...
People from the bomb squad in my back yard yesterday. I live on a neighboring street within a block of this. Talk about panic knowing I am at work and kids at home on summer vacation...

I drive passed this house every morning with Olivia to pick up my friend Jimmy ~ we ride to work together. Olivia and I have walked right past this house walking to Jimmy's
I actually sent my oldest out to the country to visit my Grandparent's and Brother as his girlfriend lives 3 houses away from this house and it's not headlining the news this evening because 20 other whackjobs are having their 15 minutes... Zak is furious because summer vacation is winding to a close ~ he can't understand why I think he needs to go out and cool his heals ~ I on the other hand could care less, that he is ticked and want to know when I am working he isn't being shrapnel'd... is that too much for a Mom to ask

my neighbors told me yesterday ~ the yard of this guy had to be dug up I guess he had explosives everywhere, thus his elaborate landscaping in the back yard... I guess.
Also from the neighbor...When his wife/girlfriend heard the gunshot, she felt someone came into the house ~ a home invasion. She had no idea this guy owned firearms, grenades, bombs. He hid this from the woman he lived with in addition to his drug habit. That's scarey too I think.
He had all that stuff burried, and would sit on his porch every evening and watch kids run in and out of his yard using it as a path or to grab their balls or pets and such. Me and Olivia passed his house everyday since my friend purchased his house 2-3 months ago... We were to the point he and his wife saw us each evening as we make a left onto the main drag saw in the picture to get home. They waved every time. And my oldest was 3 porches away most of the summer.
It really is scary to see people everyday neighbors as such not knowing they have the ability to blow you to smithereens. Olivia and I walked past that house 50 times to get to Jimmy's and I always keep her furthest from the street trying to avoid a erratic driving accident. I would have most likely been safer trucking her right down the middle of the road.
