Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
I just saw it, and wow i didn't know jack's dad was still alive! but yeah that was really really long 3 hrs!!!... i'm still not quite sure what to make of all of it though, i think it was okay though the ending was somewhat sad. You think there will be a fourth one?
The ending kind of suggested it

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
It just releases here today I believe, at least that's what my company said last night. I still have to see the secon one. We have it, but I dozed on it.
Did you see Keith Richards in it or just hear his voice? Curious because I read an article where he now has been forced to say he never did what he claimed to do with his Dad's ashes because Disney frowned upon it and he is in this film.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
Took Macgregor (9) & Moriganne(7) to see it today. They loved it!!! 3 hours seemed like 30 minutes. I had to check the kids for a pulse a few times; absolutely glued to the silver screen....as was I.
Then again; with Keith Richards and Johnny Depp.....couldn't go wrong, could they?
("...note to self.....I'm SURE I was meant to be a pirate...")
By the way, Lost, I have it on very good authority that Keiths 'ash' story was 'enhanced' to say the least and played upon from every angle and that the movie company didn't bat an eyelid.....nor did Keith; as one would expect. Sycophants abound, I guess.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
I love the names you have chosen for your kiddos~ how fun that pulses need to be checked. I love it when we luck into a movie like that. Doesn't happen as often as I would like.
I can see them promoting the ash story to make the stand they didn't like it~ seems like a publicity stunt to me.
Glad the family enjoyed it, it sounds like Dad enjoyed it just as much as the kiddos~ here' to your inner Pirate

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
Love those names too !!
But then again as Lost (Or onesie) knows I would LOL
(Onesie- look up Morrigan)
I LOVE the Pirates Series, and Mr. Depp. What I wouldn't do.......... well, this IS a family board, so I'll just leave that unsaid, but it would be enjoyable for all.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
GuessMy, even the smallest thing Keith Richards does is a big thing for me. Been like that since childhood. Love his work and how he carries himself; what he does in his spare time should be left to him, eh?
Lady Emm....we deliberately spelled 'Moriganne' as we did.....somehow seemed more feminine. The day we realised that she had 'started her journey', I saw a murder of crows in the back paddock. Never seen them there before or since. My ex-wife also happened to be reading about the Trinities at the time. The name picked itself.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
Did you hear Stones kicked off in Belgium last night I believe it was Belgium anyways...~ 30 miles of traffic to get in~ 30 miles
needless to say a few people didn't make it. I would imagine a few of those people didn't actually care :whi
