Re: New Springsteen & McCartney Singles FREE on ITunes
well I haven't looked, but I did hear a little while back that they would be having the Beatles catalog on itunes soon ...
I believe they have John Lennon now too ...
and I did see in the e-mail I received from them about new releases they had something new from Ringo Starr, and i think some of his old stuff too ...
It's the way to sell your music now ...
let's see how long before they have Led Zeppelin!

Nah, not interested....I find McCartney disturbingly creepy and while springstein had it way back it hasn't held for me. Now the zepp's.....they are still cool....

Re: New Springsteen & McCartney Singles FREE on ITunes
Mom's Beatle genes went right into us, lol. I can still remember my brother at about the age of 3 or 4 in a pair of Mallard Duck swim trunks having us into his room to act like Ringo Starr. He had a little drum set and would put the records on and play along with. I guess to truly appreciate you would have to know my brother now ... he is the last person you would think acted like Ringo Starr in Ducky Trunks ~ he doesn't even swim lol. Fun memory and about that that same time the Crystal Brown song Don't it Make my Brown Eyes Blue was popular ~ that he would sing for us... so when ever I think of the Beatles I think of that

Billy was just a little guy when that song was very popular and... he sang it with everything he had He really did give it his all.
I can remember thinking how beautiful Crystal Gayle was... and she did have such a pretty voice.

Re: New Springsteen & McCartney Singles FREE on ITunes
Oh I know feed - zep haven't recorded since 'god was a lad'. I did like springstein when in college etc back in the day but maybe it's just I haven't listened enough to his recent stuff. I enjoy indie stuff these days
