Re: E~Books / 20 plus places to find them
Here are some high-quality retailers.
Mobipocket
Fictionwise
BooksOnBoard
I've met a lot of people who already had an account with Fictionwise. But, I have had the best reports from new users about BoB.

Stonehedge Publishing and our affiliate, Author's Ink Books, are offering free, a Christmas anthology from ten of our writers. Everything from horror, fantasy and romance, to personal essays about the season. As soon as I have a release confirmation and links, I will post here. This is a great first timer's opportunity.
There's a slim chance retailer's might not cooperate and assign a price. But, here's hoping!

Re: E~Books / 20 plus places to find them
This is actually the results page for the 11th Annual Preditors & Editors Readers' Poll. But, under the bookstore category there were several retailers I had never heard of before. It's worth a look.

About halfway down, under 'novelr', the results for my category can be seen.
This poll is a really great way to get familiar with ebooks and their publishers.
