What 'cha reading?
Sorta new here, and I'm an eclectic reader.
I just read Twilight Children by Torey Hayden she's a special ed teacher who writes about her experiences
Snow Moon and the Secret Fan by Lisa See. I loved this book so much I bought copies and mailed them to friends
Don't Eat This Book, it's the book version of Supersize Me
Currently reading The Case of the Missing Books by Ian Sansom (SO Funny)
as well as
The Cannibals by Iain Lawrence it's the second in a YA trilogy The Curse of the Jolly Stone, the First book was called Convicts

Re: What 'cha reading?
My Mom, Granddad and one Brother do the same~ they are always in the middle of about 6 different books at one time. There was a time I would read 2 at a time, but I been reading zero at a time lately, my Grandfather would pinch my head off if he knew. Kristina Dalton sent me her latest book (it's a bit spicy) but had the Mother of all Court cases some to a head these past 3 weeks at work and it was from a project in 2003 ~ so I had to bury myself in that. I have read federal depositions ~ but that isn't any fun... Livy and I read every single day, it's a priority for me we both enjoy it so much. But I haven't started Kristina's Book yet and hope to dig in this week.
We are avid readers (although I am currently on pause) Granddad was an english prof at U of Pitt so when we came out of the birth canal there was a book in our hands before the umbilical cord was snipped

Re: What 'cha reading?
I always remember being littlle and after Dad would leave for work in the morning I would usually go snug in with Mom, she was and still is surrounded always surrounded by books. And we would read every morning. I loved it ~ I can't read with livy in the mornings (I did with my boys) but we have our time in the evening.

Re: What 'cha reading?
isee we have reading Rainbow here , yes?
Related All I think we are.
As a beneficiary of Onyx's largesse on the book front I too recommend Snow Flower. The Author has another one- Peony and something- but of course I can't think of it right now.
. I am going to try to get hold of some of the ones that were on the Summer reading list on GMA.

"PEONY IN LOVE," by Lisa See
This is a beautifully written book; it's almost lyrical. If anyone wants to be transported from their everyday life, this book will get the job done. It absolutely takes the reader into a whole other world.
Is this the one you were thinking of Emm?
