Introduce Yourself Here Please

Please use this thread to say tell us a little about yourself. I am 38, single mom of 3 who works a very fulltime job. The net is my getaway. I love to have a good time, my friends would probably say I am nutz & I would have to agree they are probably right. I love to play cards. I live in PA a few miles North of Pittsburgh and I am anxious for the weather to break so I can enjoy much needed porch time. Nice to meet you.

Nice to meet ya too. I'm Giggs. I'm 36 and live in NC but moving soon to be near the boyfriend. I am soon to be a step mom by the end of this year hopefully as long as things go according to our plans. The boyfriend has custody of his 9 year old daughter and she is a good kid but has issues with her mom. I feel so bad for her that she has to deal with crap and not able to be the kid that she should be. If you catch her just right you can see she is troubled by what goes on.

Wow I am impressed that you are able to hold down a full time job with having three children on your own. :)

I have two children (both teenagers) and live in the UK. I work as a Teaching Assistant, now in secondary school (High school to you I believe), but for a long time worked with 4 to 11 yr olds in Primary school.

I am married but am in the process of a divorce. It is not an easy time for me, my children are very much on their fathers side (they don't know ALL the details of why I need to leave their dad, and I don't wish them to know).

I'm sorry that your going through a divorce. I have family and friends that have gone through it and it sucks.

It is hard when children are involved and they really don't need to know all the details of why you need to leave just try to give them an answer that would satisfy them. They should be old enough to understand that your life is private and that they don't need to know all the details of your life.

Hello JarOfGiggles (cute name).... thankyou for your words. Yes indeed my children do not need to know the reasons, but it is hard for them I suppose as to them I have it all and in their eyes their father can do no wrong.

If only they knew..... but I wouldn't say ever what the main reason for me wanting this is.

Hi I am a mum of 2, girl 15 and boy 12. Married for 19 years and about to celebrate my 40th birthday!!!!! I work part time but that's changing in Aug. I'm best friends with Peanuts (some of you will know her form the other boards). I'm also from the UK but love America :trihrt
