Re: EEK!!

Well got a call last night he's suspended for 3 days from school!!! He shouted at the Irish teacher yest as she started the class by saying that they would be doing homework for the period. Well to him homework is for home and not for school. He called her an idiot etc etc, they said he wouldn't leave the room altho' he tells us he was about to leave the room when they told him to leave so then he wouldn't leave.....ho hum. So i got a call saying he was 'desperate' (irish term for awful) today and that he had left a 'trail of destruction' behind him. He acted up for that class, then there was a break and he completed the other 5 classes without an issue, that would seem to be the definition of a 'trail of destruction'....anyway so be it. The poor thing was so upset he was slapping his head last night and actually scratched at the spots he has till they bled.....and they seem to think that he doesn't give a damn...so meeting on Thurs and we'll see. He's supposedly back into school on Fri morning. the joys!

Awfully peculiar how they describe a trail of destruction and it seems the outbursts always occur with his Irish teacher. We'll be thinking about you guys and I do hope things get sorted and I hope he isn't too hard on himself during the suspension. Keep us posted and you know we are here if you need an ear.

Oh he's not good lost, he's pale as a ghost, very bad form, has scratched his face etc so he looks like a pizza...very very down with this and confused etc. Got the official suspension letter from the school today citing 'threatening behaviour towards a teacher' - now we were told it was shouting and name calling...will have to see on thurs. It's one of those weeks tho' - bad news from all quarters so i'm feeling like a bloody train wreck...

Damn ~ my heart goes out to you but it's just broken for him. Hoping above anything the waters calm. Try not to fret too much & I know that's easy for someone to say... but it will get sorted I have all confidence in that. It appears the Irish teacher just isn't as understanding as she should be. Fingers crossed that you will be able to work your magic and allow her to understand. And take care of your little guy, but take care of yourself too. You know we are here for you.

You would not believe the crock of sh*t that is our lives at the moment.....now he's on a 'blue card' where he's supposed to find his year head each morn (starting tomorrow when he returns from suspension) and get her to sign it, each teacher signs etc so he has to remember a whole new complex routine for the next 5 days...he is in FOUL form, we're all exhaused......

Oh and he's PERMANENTLY as in forever banned from that teacher's class - gone, he's top of the class and now can no longer take part in it. He is now not being taught Irish and has a great affinity for it. We'll probably have to pay for private grinds...

Hopefully after the w/end the news will be good but for now it sucks big time...

I don't even know what to say. Just thinking about you guys and hoping the waters calm themselves. I had wondered the other day if he could be put in another Irish class but it looks as if she is the one and only. Certainly they can see his ability, can't something be done? And... can't something be done about forcing the blue card on him ~ that just seems to be adding insult to injury. There is documented medical expertise stating how difficult change in routine is. I bet he is in foul form. My goodness he has been put through the ringer. I know though as difficult as it is for him you struggle more and I just wish there was something that I could do to help. We're here to listen though :) Hang in ~ all of you :)

EEK!!

Well i had to come back on quickly just to write this.
I have to tell you I regained the faith I have in homeopathy tonight (sometimes it just blows me away). Things were just getting worse and worse today and this eve with our son and I just went into my office and closed the door and had a good think about it all. I decided that he was experiencing extreme (and I mean extreme) anxiety so I went off and gave him the appropriate remedy. Within 15 minutes or less, me and hubby were working in the kitchen and next thing we heard the 2 boys wrestling and laughing behind us. My hubby walked over to me and hugged me (he's a bit aspie too so spontaneous hugs aren't too often!) and I just had tears streaming down my face. Our son has laughed, joked and smiled since then. We hadn’t seen one smile for 4 days….it was a dramatic change and we’re having such a lovely evening….I’m so glad as I thought we were in serious trouble for tomorrow. At least I know he’ll be going in feeling better and also he has an osteopathy session first thing in the morning and that always chills him a bit….fingers crossed I doubt I’ll sleep much tonight…but I’m smiling!! To be honest all i want is smiles, if we have them we know things aren't so bad. Please send good vibes for tomorrow, and boy was a w/end ever more welcome!

EEK!!

He's just gone to bed, he told me he's very nervous about tomorrow - when will they realise their actions are making him anxious and when he's anxious he acts up etc...anyway compared to some hours ago he's much better, he had some great fun and we'll just hope for the best.

Apart from all this stuff i had some v.bad news re. my closest friend and a few other incidents this week - never more glad to see it end....
