Welcome Home Syd and Lola

Once Olivia get a little more meat on her bones I am actually going to put in a cat door to the basement. At this point I have them staged in the foyer at the top of the basement stairs. I have actually been sleeping on the couch with the tub an arms reach away so I can hear them stir because I would feel awful if they woke and had to go and couldn't get out. They are doing pretty good at coming when they are "called" and if I shake one of their toys they come zipping right in. I know when they get up on the second floor if they get lost they cry until one of us goes on a rescue mission so I think they probably could sleep outside of the tub and be fine. They do love to snuggle in it though ~ they are in possession of what was the most comfortable quilt in the house ~ but it has seen better days so I shared it with them (it was my favorite blankie, lol)

Welcome Home Syd and Lola

last night I tipped the tub on it's side and just moved them in when they went to bed and they snuggled all night until about 6:30 this morning. Needless to say the big ugly blue tub probably wouldn't make Martha Stewart proud so it's going to have to be moved... but our house is lived in so the boys don't think much of seeing a tub in the living room disguised as a cat bed :)

They were nuts last night ~ I purchased the cat nip it was in two toys and they went ballistic ~those two wrestled like they were possessed we laughed so hard and they were flying all over the house ~ there wasn't a surface that was safe. It was so fun.
