Re: Planes Trains and Automobiles: Pan Am and Eastern Airlines- 'nuff said. We took them everywhere and now they are defunct. United was the luxury liner of the air andmuch more expensive.
… The one Dad has was like a Sherman Tank it never broke down. I can still see him and my Grandpa pulling in after the finished work. Or my Mom in it with one of those triangle tops ~ the name escapes me and a handkerchief on her head and big hoop earrings on ~ Looking back I thought they were so old then and they weren't even in their 30's yet, lol.
