Anchor Staying Put Gardening Service
I am very pleased to let you know that Anchor Staying Put - Colchester have started a Gardening Service.
The service is for the over sixties or those with a physical disability that live in the borough of Colchester in their own or privately rented home.
We will be offering a basic service to include mowing lawns, cutting hedges and shrubs, and clearing pathways. All our gardeners will be police checked and we will have received references from some of their previous customers.
The purpose of the service is to help people avoid slips, trips or falls. We also hope that improving the look of the property will prevent opportunist crime. Furthermore a well kept garden provides mental well being and reduces social isolation.
Customers will have to pay for the service. If a customer qualifies for a subsidy they will pay £8 an hour, if not they will pay £12 an hour. All customers will receive support and assistance from Anchor Staying Put – Colchester.
Anchor Staying Put – Colchester also provides confidential advice, support and assistance on repairs, improvements or adaptations to property that will help people to ‘stay put’.
