Thirteen

" a film that perfectly captures...the devastating allure of cool"

this film is a raw revealing insight into urban adoselance that is so intense and realistic. this film i found was impossible to turn away from.

its about a 13year old girl (Tracey played by Evan Rachel Wood)who goes to shocking lengths in order to befriend Evie (played by teh co writer of the film, Nikki Reed)teh most popular girl in school. the two become insepreable leaving traceys mother (Played by Holly Hunter) powerless to rescue t hem from a whirlwind of drugs sex and crime.

i LOVE this movie, and it dserves to beseen at least once by everyone, and i jawdroppingly awesome. this is one of my favourite movies. it features music from an artist called Katy Rose who is exceptional and whose music is another i love as much as metallica.

please go check this movie out... you will not regret it

oh and another thing, as the movie plays, the color degrades indicating tracys fall, and there is a poster that is featured constantly and it degrades as well. this is a movie you have GOT to check out. its damn good.

I love this movie too..the only thing that gets on my nerves, my mom watched this movie with me and at the end of it she turned to me and asked "is this really what you're like when you're with your friends?" simple enough question but it turned into a huge arguement between us because I tend to blow things out of proportion/take things too personally, but still my point is it wasn't portraying the more [I don't want to say normal, because by no means am I so: insert word of choice here] teenagers.

but don't get me wrong, tis a good movie. 'Specially the part where that guy strips in the sprinklers at the park

Re: Thirteen

i just love the whole movie as a whole, never watched it with my parents, and well if they watched it and looked at me at the same time... well i dont want to know about what they would say. the Tracey portrayed in the film is basically what i was like from the ages of 13 up until, well a few years ago to be honest... there is no way in hell i could watch that wiht my folks, far to close to home as the saying goes.

Loved that movie, it was kind of sad though I like when Tracey goes "No bra no panties" thought that was kinda funny
