Re: Post Notifications
To stop post notifications, go into your control pannel, and under misc settings you will find a small box entitled "automatic post notifications." The box is ticked by default. Untick the box and you will stop receiving automatic post notifications.

Re: Post Notifications
Yes, you did it right. After your next post, scroll down and look just below the submit reply button. Make sure the "Get notifications when someone replies" is unchecked automatically. If it isn't, uncheck it manually, but it should be unchecked. You will still get a few emails. When you do, you should click on the link that states something to the effect of "unsubscibe me from this topic." It will take you to the board. From that moment on, you will not receive any more replies from THAT topic. HOWEVER, all the posts you made BEFORE you unticked the box will still send you replies. Simply ignore them as runboard will only send you one per topic until you make another post, or click "unsubscibe" and soon you will be free of them.
