is there a way to turn off viewing signatures ?
in either free or premium accounts ?

I can turn off the signature function, but it's an all-or-nothing thing. If I turn off the signature function, no one will be able to have signatures. If someone has a signature that is too big, it's best to ask them to minimize it. I've found that usually people will respect your request when you ask them politely.

no, I definitely wouldn't want that taken away.
I don't mind 'em but sometimes I have to wait 10 minutes for a page to load. lol. I'll so be glad when I have highspeed int. again
I'll deal with it until then.

I'd definately agree to that. The size of your banner is perfect. The size of the banners Simone (Burning Karma) creates are perfect. There's no way to put a limit on the signatures, other than personally asking those specific "violators" to please minimize them, which I have done in the past. If there was a way to program it in, I would do it in a heartbeat, because I do understand the dial-up concern.
BTW, what are the dimensions of your banner? I'm being lazy, I guess I could just look it up myself. But I'd say that's a pretty good size.

I don't want to upset anyone; it'd just be nice if runboard would offer that option individually instead of as a whole.
like I said, I can deal with waiting a while for a page to load.
