What are your learning at the mo?
Just wondered what you guys are learning at the moment, or what you've learnt recently?
Also, which Metallica songs can you play?
I'm learning The Small Hours which is off Garage Inc, pretty cool song and a lot of fun to play!
The last song I learnt was 197666 by the Murderdolls, dunno why just felt like learning something fairly easy!
The metallica songs I can play on guitar are:
Seek and Destroy
For whom the bell tolls
Fade to black
One (intro)
Enter Sandman
Unforgiven
Until it sleeps
Mama said
Wasting my hate
So what
Frantic
I've also attempted Motorbreath, Am I evil, Battery, Sad but true and St. Anger but never got very far!

rite now im learning panama by van halen...  im not so into the "glam rock"*posers* thing but yea
i can "play" most of the riffs and songs by metallica. but when it comes to solos, im way off...the only solos i can "try" rite now are the unforgiven solos, fade to black solos, am i evil, and part of one. it'll take a long time before i can play as fast or as accurate as quirky kirk.

^ ha, yeah i learned fade to black. i'm not good enough for the end solo yet though. at the moment, i'm learning the unnamed feeling and tuesday's gone. haven't really started yet cause i've been working on some of my own stuff, but i listen to the unnamed feeling and decided i wanted to play it.

I can't really play the solos to Metallica songs but then I'm more of a rhythm guitarist like James!
I love playing Fade to Black, I can play everything except the solos!

Yeah Murderdolls are cool! They aren't a band you can take seriously tho, they are a band who love to have a bit of fun! 197666 is my fave song off the album, I learnt Dead in Hollywood the other night and now I'm trying my hand at People Hate me 
I don't think Wednesday is particularly sexy but I admire Joey, I think he's a great guitarist and I prefer his material with the Dollz than when he's drumming with Slipknot!
The first solo I learnt was from Living after Midnight by Judas Priest! I haven't learnt a Metallica solo so I'll give the last solo to FTB a look, thanks for the tip rubylipz!
I'm quite into Blue Oyster Cult at the mo (which is strange coz I'm not much of a fan of late 70's/early 80's rock!) I'm learning Burning for you which is cool to play, even if it's not that heavy!
