blue oyster cult are great! i've got their best of album and the agents of fortune album...it's good stuff! i discovered them when i wanted to hear the original version of astronomy, and i loved them! i'm not usually a massive fan of that type of music, but i really like what they've done...though, to be completely honest, i think i like metallica's version of astronomy better. it's heavier!

Re: What are your learning at the mo?
I'm trying to learn Nothing Else Matters. I just got my guitar on sunday, and It's the first thing i'm trying to learn. So far I have the intro memorized, now I just need to perfect it, and continue with the rest of the song...

Yeah I agree, Metallica's version of Astronomy is better than the original!
My fave Blue Oyster Cult songs are Fire of unknown origin (that bass line is just killer!), Burning for you, (Don't fear) The Reaper, and Astronomy (even tho I think metallica's version is better!)
I'm not usually into that sorta stuff either but hey, BOC are pretty cool!
Cliff liked BOC, I've got a pic on my wall with him wearing a Blue Oyster Cult T-shirt!

Re: What are your learning at the mo?
I can't play my guitar properly at the mo coz the other day my amp stopped working
I have to play it without the amp which I find really annyoing, since I love the wonderful crunchy sound it makes when I plug it in!
I gotta wait 4 weeks till my new amp arrives, I dunno how I'm gonna cope!

Yeah, I'm dying to start jamming again! It just isn't the same playing my guitar with no amp
