fender strats are good to start on thats what ive got and it rules
its also pink and a custom
Yeah, strats are nice but they're also pretty expensive. Well they are for me anyways, lol. The guitars I suggested are nice beginner guitars and they aren't more than $150. That's the cheapest guitar you'll be able to get that is good quality. As for amps, you can get a small Marshall practice amp for around $80. This is just to start out. When you get more confident in your playing and stuff, I'm sure you'll wanna upgrade and stuff .

I just got a beginner Behringer pack, i love it to death. The gutiar's gorgeous and it only costed me 110$. An amp, gig bag, and all the other options came with it. Ironically, i bought another guitar for my dad, and bought it all separately. it came to about 150$, sans amp.
Especally if you're begining, i'd go with a pack. IT's a lot easier, without spending too much. The guitar'll only be black, no color options.
Otherwise i'd go with an Epiphone
yeah I have that guitar too!!Great for beginners, otherwise,I should change it but have no money

Re: Beginning Guitar
I'd just Feel it out .. you know go pick up & try a couple diferent ones. Strap it on & Plug it in! I was lucky though my first guitar was a Gibson Nighthawk I bought for $140 ..R.i.P
