It had been so long, no one had spoken to Bruce in almost four days. his house just sat there. dead and quiet. Nothing moved around but his dog barking and standing on the couch to people walking by. But nothing happened.
The sprinklers would come on, but that was the only time the house would do something. No lights came on at night. Newspapers stacked up for three days. No one wanted to talk to Bruce or even see what was going on.
Around the fifth day. Dani and Tommy went to go see on their freind.
A black Cammaro pulled up and Dani sat in the front wearing all black and a pair of deep blue sunglasses. His hand was holding another hand. There next to him was his wife Auluna.
She had on sort of a Chines dress the way it was formed around her neck. It was cut in the center and went down a bit. And platforms on.
Tommy wore whatever a Tommy wears. Just a jean and a t-shirt. He held a red box in his hand and waited to get out of the car.
"Okay Tommy, here's Bruce's house." Dani said bringing the car to a stop
"It looks like he hasn't been here for a while." Auluna said quietly
Tommy opened the door and walked up his driveway. He held the box close to him and saw the envalope out the door. dani and Auluna steped out of the car and walked slowly behind him.
The only thing that was making any noise was the morning doves and a dog howling. Tommy reasd the note and droped it as soon as he was done reading it. Dani and Auluna looked at eachother and saw Tommy's face.
"Where the **** is the ******* key!?" Tommy said looking all over his welcome mat
He found the key and almost broke it in his door. Bruce's dog came running up to him and ran Tommy upstairs to the bathroom. Dani stood in the doorway.
"Just stand here okay baby?" Dani asked
"Sure..." Auluna said worried
Tommy looked at the bathroom and saw a key infront of the door. The puppy looked sad
and watched Tommy unlock the door. He ramed his way in.
And there he was Bruce's body in the bathtub.
"You better have ****ing lied...I wouldn't be man old pal...please come back..." Tommy said looking at his freinds face
He sat in the bathtub next to him and took the gun from his right hand. He huged his freind and cried some. He felt whatever blood was left crawl on his skin. He didn't know what to do.
"I would have helped you man!" Tommy yelled
"I offered! And, and **** I miss you man!!!"

The cops came a few hours later and got all the information that they ever needed. Dani held his wife as Tommy watched his freind get pulled away.
Tommy looked at the white blanket being pulled over. One of the doctors looked at him and shook his head. tommy stood there and watched the doors behind the ambulance close.
"Tommy...if you need a place, or someone to talk to...well...you know we're here." dani said walking up to him and giving him a pat on his back
"Yeah..." he said slowly
"Well...tell us when you're ready to go." Dani replied walking out the door of Bruce's house
Tommy looked around and saw his dog Savage walk up to him. The little puppy snuggled against his leg and whipmered.
"Well little pal...your daddy is never gonna come back." Tommy said going down to the pups level "You should live with me, I'll take care of you little man."
Tommy picked up the pup and walked out the door with the scared dog. He cried in Tommy's arms and tried to be warm.

~Three days later~
"Man I can't beleive that he did this..." I said holding Kirk's arm
"I know such bullsh1t." Simone said looking out at the ocean with us
I can't beleive this. Bruce is dead. We got the news the other day, well, to say truth, the world knew about his death. I knew he had a problem, everyone did. But he knew he could have come to us and we would have helped him get through those times.
Kirk looked sad and watched the ocean come in and out with a quiet sound of water. Simone looked out as well, he face was pail and no one had a smile.
"I've known that f#cker for sooo many years." Simone cried "Like, we were freinds before we could walk...we were like...like..I don't know but something was there..." she paused
Kirk looked at his feet as the water splashed on them. For me, I was just looking at my life. Bruce was always there for us, why couldn't we be there for him.
Tommy is having such a hard time dealing with this. That guy was his older brother. Those two would have married eachother if they knew you could. But it just sucked balls.
"I'm stoping Double Birdy..." I said out of the scilence
Kirk and Simone looked at me like I was f#cking crazy. But I'm dead serious. The band stops here.

"You know what?" I said to Kirk after his eyes twinkled open
"What baby?" he replied snuggling under my chin
"If there is a point to life, and we can't find it, where's the object of living?" I asked
Kirk looked at me with a question in his eye. He pulled the blankets over us more and kissed my neck. He laughed a little and soon became quiet.
"That's something we must all find in ourselves without anyone to guid us." Kirk whispered in my ear
"So..." I paused
"No." he laughed a responce
His eyes were dark and he had a faint smile. He knew everything I knew. He smiled and moved my hair back, then let his eyes twinkle some more.
"Raquel, just remember, people love even after death, you'll see." he smiled wraping his arms around me
"Guess so." I giggled
"I know so sweets!" Kirk laughed

"I don't care, we gotta keep going!" I yelled at my band mates as we all stood in the back yard of my house
Twiggy looked at the ground and shook his head. Randy stood there like a ghost. And Tommy..poor guy. He looked like his heart was ripped out and shot. I looked at him and thought about my next few words. This was **** I really didn't want to do, or say to Tommy. Anything I was about to do was gonna hurt my dear freind.
"Tommy...here...here's Bruce's will...he..he wanted you to read it, everything he had belongs to you now..." I paused passing the paper over to him
He read it and sighed. Then his eyes got big.
"Dude...he wrote...he wrote that we should continue the band." Tommy froze for a bit
"Did Rocky write that?" asked Randy
"No..Bruce." the paper shivered in his hand for a big as a few tears droped on the white card
"Well the next thing we need to do is find another player..." Randy said
"Bruce woulda wanted us to..." Tommy paused
"WE will!" I smiled and gave everyone a hug "Tommarow we will have tryouts, and trust me. No one can be as good as Bruce or even come close. But ******* it we're gonna have another guitar player..."

~Highway To Hell~
We as a band hosted a big tryout for a new guitar player. We had flyers out and many people made phone calls to join. We were all excited. But we say a bunch of people that Bruce would have said no to. But we had to do what was right for the band. Kirk sat next to me as did Twiggy on my other. Randy and Tommy stood in the back to watch the guitar players refrom.
One by one they all walked into the empty factory. We listend and admired everyones work. At the end they would place a picture of them and a short bio.
The line grew shorter and I saw the one. He was tall and white. He had on a black t-shirt and ripped jeans with a pentagram belt. He walked in with a silver blackish B.C Rich warlock. He smiled and stood in front of us. Tommy pluged his amp in and there was the sounds that we were looking for.
Randy bobed his head a little and Tommy stood there ignoring the music.
Then a guy named Kevin walked in short after. He had long hair and had a long metal solo. It was worthy that Kirk banged his head a little.
When he walked out one more came in. He was the last of the group. Cory was his name and death metalh was his game.
After everyone left we all looked at the profiles and laughed at some and looked at others as a maybe.
The final three WERE our final three. But we could only pic one...
The profiles went as so...
My name is Max, and I totally rule. Everything about me kicks ass. I know everything, and everyone who thinks they're better than me sucks.
I listen to metal. Metal kicks ass, and all subgenres of metal kick ass. Slayer kicks ass. Slayer is the best band in existance. Anyone who disagrees is wrong.
I'm straight-edge. I don't give a **** if you're not, but just be warned that I don't give a **** about you getting high or drunk, so don't expect me to find it impressive.
I like horror movies. Horror movies also kick major ass. The Shining is one of the best horror movies ever made, period. I also like to make movies, because I rule. Anyone who doesn't like the movies I make has no taste.
Then there was Cory

And then our final one was Kevin

I'm the coolest guy in the known universe.
Your boyfriend hates me.
I eat babies.
We all sat there and thought. Then Tommy looked at one of them and smiled a little.
"This is out guy, right here!!!" Tommy laughed
We all smiled and took his word. He was the one...
