Re: mod radio uk
We had our very own forum mod radio evening going on for a while, two of the dj's used to post on here and having met one of them, he and simpa came up with the idea of forum members sending in requests, then for two hours 'our' tunes were played. It was bleeding brilliant, at the time the music was on, we would go into the chat room to have a chat and say what we thought of the choices members had made. I miss that happening.

Re: mod radio uk
Yay Simpa, Good to see Ash (Mappedout) posting again. Good luck with the show. Couple of requests if you have them, Shes Got Everything-The Kinks and Right Track/Boston Monkey-Billy Butler. Thanks Ash for putting me on to Boston Monkey, I bought the single for the B side, just like I bought Days for it's B side, She's Got Everything.

A lot of the 60's B-sides have pure Gems on them.

Re: mod radio uk
My theory is the B sides were the groups choice but the A sides were what the record labels choose. So the A sides became hits because they appealed to the masses, at the time, but some of those B sides became classics. Both of the above though are good on both sides.
Fcuk I'm starting to sound like a writer or some such, once again good luck with the show.
