MODS MAYDAY 2009 - The 30 Year Revival Anniversary!!!!!
This event will be taking place in Birmingham over the Bank Holiday weekend of Friday 1st May - Sunday 3rd May.
A well known number of bands artists have already been confirmed, in fact 'SEVENTEEN' so far inc: Pope, RT3, Squire, Small World, Mike Walker (The Circles) and Long Tall Shorty.
Details are still being put together regarding what's happening on each day as we are still negotiating with one or two bands. While some very 'high profile' dj's have also been approached to take part.
Proposals are that Friday's evening event will be 'FREE ENTRY' for those purchasing a weekend ticket (for both Sat & Sun).
Tickets for Sat/Sun can also be bought seperately but purchasing a weekend ticket will cost slightly less.
We will be trying to keep the cost of this event as low as possible - which makes perfect sense to me regarding the present situation with finances.
The proceeds from the event will go to the Charity 'ARMS' and we are hoping this will be one of the 'events of the year'!
So if you ain't yet made plans your 2009 events then book/pencil this one in on you calendar for a 'MUST GO - NOT TOO BE MISSED'!!!
If you run or know anyone who has a stall ie - cds'/clothes/records/scooter parts etc.. and would like to take part then please get in touch. Or if you know or are a dj or involved with a band and this is of interest to you then please feel free to contact me.
NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE 'MODS MAYHEM' EVENT TAKING PLACE IN LONDON AT THE END OF THE SAME MONTH.
