 2008 ufos over USA
Colorado-05-22-08-I was standing in my backyard late morning, and I happened to look up toward the west and there were 4 separate objects that at first appeared to be parachutists, but this was in the air traffic path here in Grand Junction. We are used to seeing many types of aircraft as Grand Junctional Regional Airport is also a military depot.
I watched these objects spin in small circles, they were “floating” and every time they would turn I would see a quick flash of red and then white, super bright. I could not estimate the distance. After a few minutes they floated straight up and stretched out into a straight line ( from north to south) 2 red ones now appearing to be bright stars facing south, and 2 white facing north disappearing westward. My best description of these objects is parachutists, but this doesn't seem probable since they were not descending. I have 10 years Navy experience, and have seen many aircraft, but nothing like this. source: www.mufon.com
Illinois-05-10-08-On my way back to bed from the bathroom, I noticed bright lights shining through the split in the window curtains. I thought it might be the police with their lights on, so I opened the curtains and to my amazement it wasn't the police.
It was several bright multi-colored lights in the sky in the shape of a circle just hovering about a few hundred feet above the ground. Then after several minutes (8 or 10 minutes), a bluish beam of light came from the center of the other lights and hit the ground about a hundred feet from my window. It was illuminating what seemed to be a dog in the parking lot.
Then after about 30 seconds, the beam of light just cut off. It was too dark to see if the dog had left, but when the beam of light shined on the dog, it did not run away as I had expected it to. It seemed to be frozen in its tracks. This seemed strange at first, but then I remembered that a deer will freeze in its tracks when in the headlights of a car.
Then after the beam cut off, the rest of the lights seemed to begin spinning clockwise and elevating slowly about another hundred feet or so, then they shot into the night sky at an alarming rate of speed. I could not even guess how fast. But faster than anything I have ever seen before. It was at an angle of about 45% until they just vanished or went out of range of my sight. I know this sounds hard to believe, but I saw what I saw, and I have never have seen anything like this before. I just wish I had my camera with me because nobody would have believed me if I told anyone, so I kept it to myself and my wife. Thank you for this opportunity to get this off my chest. Indiana-05-13-08-I don't believe in all of the hype of UFOs and frankly I can't stand to hear about sightings and see horrible pictures. But, about a year ago I was outside and looked over in the field, a plane seemed to have come down from the sky very quickly, so I thought. I started to freeze up thinking that it was going to crash not far from my home. Then like nothing at all it slowed down to turtle speed and stayed above the fields for a minute and disappeared, I mean literally disappeared. If it was a plane or whatever and flew back up, then it was way too fast for the eye to see.
While it was over the fields, it appeared to be oval or round in shape and it was fairly bright. Honestly, I froze in shock more or less, trying very hard to convince myself that it was a plane. I tried to tell my family about it, but couldn't find the words and I didn't want to sound crazy. I am a very level headed wife and mother, so I kept this to myself all this time. I don't why I decided to let it out here, I just know that it was eating me up inside and I had to get it out. source: www.mufon.com
Massachusetts-05-22-08-I was gone from the home and returned around 9:15 PM on May 22, 2008. My daughter was still up, I was going to scold her for being awake. She told me she saw something outside my window. She got alerted by a light coming in the window. She looked out and maybe 5 car lengths away about and maybe 200 feet above the ground she saw this round object, hovering. It was silver in color, with little rounded curve on top. She had drawn a picture of it. I went out, put my glasses on and looked and what I saw first were three what looked like US fighter jets going overhead. Then in the distance I could see flashing red and white lights, looked like stars but shot through the sky.
Then I would see more what I think were US jets (they were triangular in shape) This went on from May 22, 2008, at about 9:00 PM- May 23, 2008, at approximately 12:15 AM. I stood outside and watched this from 9:45 PM until midnight. There was this like fog in the sky that was like settling. I was so tired, I went to bed at that time and looked out my window before going to sleep and another jet went by. We are not near any military base.
Then my daughter was dressing for school this morning. She looked out her window and told me there was a man out there with a box, holding it up writing stuff down. I went and looked, it was a yellow box (I looked on Internet as to what Geiger counters look like and that is what it appeared to be). He would hold it above his head, it had some kind of stick on it, he would look at it, then write something down, (it wasn't a lap top, it was just a screen where you could write into it, it didn't have keys) He went to different areas doing this. He was in a truck I have never heard of before. This morning I woke up not feeling well, with a funny taste in my mouth, sore throat, really bad headache and my skin feels like it is burning. source: www.mufon.com
