Making Money By Killing Green Dragons.(by cold reaper0)
Mhmm, here's how to kill green drags for money. Depending on your combat, this method can easily make around 200-600k an hour.
Requirements:
Decent combat, 70 at the least
A weapon, no lower than dragon
Some decent armour, dragonhide or rune
100+ lobsters
Recommended:
90+ combat
84 magic with ancient spells
Whip
10+ glory amulets
Here's how it works.
You start at edgeville bank, make your way to the green drags at the graveyard in lvl 23 wild, directly north of edgeville. This can be done either by walking or teleporting.
Next thing to do is kill 13 drags, picking up the bones and hides. Then make your way back to edgeville bank, either by walking or using a glory teleport. Deposit the bones and hides, and repeat.
What you should have in your inventory, before leaving edgeville:
If you have 84+ magic you should also withdraw 2 laws and 2 souls for carrallanger teleport, which sends you to the graveyard next to green drags.
The number of lobsters you need will depend on your defence/combat. I'm 103 combat with 80 defence and I use 10 lobs per run. Best thing to do is try with 10-15 lobs and adjust on the next run.
The other thing you should take is an ectophial or any 1 inventory space teleport. This is only brought incase you need to teleport quickly because of pkers, and you don't have time to use glory.
What you should wear:
If you don't have a warrior helm, use a berserker, rune, or even addy instead.
A god cape can be used in place of a legends cape.
If you don't have high enough range for decent hide armour, just use rune or addy. Remember to only take 3 valuable items though.
A dragon long or scimmy is good if you don't have a whip, or want to train strength. Not sure about any other weapons.
Dragonfire shield is a MUST, unless you want to get 2 hitted.
Rune gloves cost 6.5k, but you need to do most of recipe for disaster to use them. If you haven't got them, try dragonhide vambs or gauntlets. Climbing boots can be bought cheap from some guy in burthrope.
What to have when you head back to edgeville:
Extra inventory space is there to unequip your glory and teleport.
Once you have killed enough drags, go on runescape.com forum and sell the hides and bones. Hides typically sell for about 1.7k each, but may go for more if you have 1k+. Bones are 2.5k each but once again, if you collect a lot of them you could be getting 2.7k each.
