Wilderness Security guide(by toxicity)

LOW LEVELS (3-20)

-Don't venture off into the high wilderness levels. There are strong enemies and more importantly, stong PKers who like weak players.

-Don't go in wearing everything you own. Every person should know this by now.

-If you see anyone on the map coming towards you, just run or log out. They're probably going to kill you.

-Don't attack players with higher levels than you. Not even if they are like 2 levels higher. That means that they are still stronger than you, and therefore you would probably lose if you were up against them.

-Try to get your cooking skill up before you go in. That way, if you come across any meat or things to cook, you can cook them. Either that or just bring food with you.

-Don't go near the rune castle around level 14 wilderness. Strong PKers hang out there and are just delighted to see unsuspecting new people.
Even though the runes inside there will be tempting, you can easily be trapped by PKers or killed by the enemies inside.

-If you feel that you are too weak, you probably are. If you feel insecure about going in, then don't go in. And if you do go in, be well prepared.

MID-LEVELS (21-40)

-If you are going there to mine coal and such, always bring food. Don't bother with the hobgoblin mines, you will probably get killed. Be careful when going near the skeleton mines near the rune castle. Skeletons are there and they will not hesitate to attack you, not to mention the stray PKers that wander around there.

-If you are going there to fight, keep in mind that you are ample targets for people 10 levels higher than you. Many times I see PKers that are levels 30-48 wandering around. In other words, save up some money to buy lobsters, or cook some homemade food yourself.

-Again, do not go near the rune castle unless you are well prepared for battle. This means food, food, food, weapons, maybe some armor if you're willing to risk losing it, and even more food. Many times I have been killed going there when I was in these levels.

-Don't bring anything unless you're willing to lose it. Self explainitory.

-If you have decent cooking skills, you can make some pizza at the Bandit's camp, north of the rune castle. Do keep in mind that the bandits there are strong and numerous, and they attack without warning.

-Again, don't go into the higher levels unless you absolutely have to for some reason. People like me hang out there sometimes. I'm level 57.

-Don't team up with anybody unless you know them personally. Most of the time if you team up with someone you don't know, they will most likely take you way out into the wilderness and kill you. Trust me on this one. This has happened too many times to me.

UPPER MID LEVELS (41-60)

-This is my category of expertise, since I am a level 57. So just trust me here.

-The Bandit's Camp is a great spot for cooking pizzas. You might want to bring a net in case you can cook anchovie pizzas. There are rats here for meat pizzas and there is a fishing spot.

-The skeleton mines are a good place to mine at these levels. The skeletons don't pose much of a threat anymore, but the threat of PKers is even greater. In other words, if you're here to mine, go to a non-crowded world.

-The hobgoblin mines are very annoying at this point. It would just be easier to mine whatever you need elsewhere. The hobgoblins just attack you and attack you until you leave. Pretty damn annyoing.

-If you're there for killing, the rune castle is pretty good, just watch out for level 60+ PKers.

-While in Bandit's camp, watch out for people coming towards you. If they made it past the bandits at the front, that's gotta be one strong low level. In other words, its probably a PKer looking for it's next victim. If you're cooking pizzas, just go to a less crowded world.

-If you're going to the Rune Castle, still bring lots of food. It pays off if there aren't a lot of PKers there, because if there are a few sometimes they will all kill each other and you can get the spoils. One time I got an addy 2 hander

HIGH LEVELS (61-80)

-At this point, you probably have rune armor, or at least addy armor. If you're going out into the wildy, it is reccomended that you bring 2 peices of armor, and your weapon in case you get into a fight. Try not to get a skull though, or else you lose everything.

-Don't fall for the "Please kill me, I have (insert excuse here)". Don't attack them even if they are a lower level. They are probably hiding some rune armor/weapons which can easily be equipped. They also probably have high stregnth or defense.

-Bring good food like lobsters or swordfish for survival in case you're in a fight, even if you have a skull. Remember this, food is replaceable, armor and weapons are too, but they cost money.

*Note, if you are a member, you should always bring some food like eels or even some sharks...*

-You still might want to avoid the rune castle, but if you're strong and brave, you should go there. A lot of people in this level category hang out there, so you may or may not be overpowered. You might even get a kill.

-If you forget to bring food a lot, at least bring a net and maybe 100g.
You can always make anchovie pizza at the Bandit's camp.

-If you're a miner, the skeleton mines are still good, but you may or may not still be annoyed with the hobgoblin mines. Those hobgobs are pesky little buggers. Also, if you're a freakishly high level miner (can mine rune ore) there are 2 runite rocks way back in the wilderness.

-If you want to train on tougher enemies, there are some greater demons on the eastern side of the wilderness way in the back. Be careful though, for other high levels like to train there too. As always, BRING FOOD. I cannot stress enough how important that is.

-Also, if you're a good smither, there is a furnace in the ruins near the hobgob mines. There are some red spiders there though, but they shouldn't pose much of a threat.
---------------------------------------------

NEW SECTION! Points of interest!

-If you go east from the Hobgoblin mines, there is a gold respawn and a steel legs respawn. Once you're there you can get the steel legs, switch worlds and get them again until you have a full inventory

-If you're willing to risk it, there's a Cosmic rune respawn way at the end of f2p wilderness. It's all the way northwest. Be careful though, for there are Ice Warriors and Ice Giants. Food is suggested.

-Bring a knife and food for this one. If you head straight north from the Hobgoblin mines, you will see some lava. Follow the lava west until you reach a spot where you can go in. This is the entrance to the lava maze. There will be spider webs, so get a knife or a hatchet to cut through them. If you're a medium level, you might want to bring food because there are black knights and king scorpians there. Low levels should not touch this place. Inside the maze there is an Earth Staff respawn, steel chest respawn, and a gold necklace respawn. Also, I believe if you have the Muddy Key, you can open the chest at the end of the maze. I have yet to buy a key.

I belive that's it.
