Preordering GrimGrimoire?

Ah?! What the heck, why have the bonus items been split up over 2 packages this time around?

If I want to get everything it seems I need to shell out $140 emoticon That's just nuts.
Also, why do we need to order the online strategy guide in addition to each collection (for $5 more) when the online strategy guide is supposed to be included with each collection? I don't even want those guides...

Wow, this is just stupid. This may be the first NIS game I skip. And I even shelled out the ~$110 for the first Atelier Iris emoticon

Re: Preordering GrimGrimoire?

i was noticing that as well. seems like one could order two copies of the game to get both bonuses and return the extra copy.

it's still kind of absurd that nis would do this to loyal fans, though. i've preordered every game they've released as well as bought all the figures/etc off this site. now they force me to buy two copies of a game just to get the preorder bonuses.

also the wording makes it sound like the guide is free then they tell you to put both items in your cart in order to get the postcard book. just seems like a mess as i have no clue what i need to order to receive both bonuses. a pdf file holds no value to me.

Hah, what's sad is I'm seriously considering biting on 2 copies. Damn evil marketing almost works emoticon

It's just buying 2 copies of a pdf that's holding me back, that's a complete rip. I don't actually use the players guides I buy, I put them in mylar and add them to my bookcase emoticon

how about it nisa.

could we get some clarification on this matter. surely we don't have to buy this online guide when it says it's included in the preorder package.

what exactly is going on here?

Re: Preordering GrimGrimoire?

I just received an email from the Rosen Queen store. They're apolgizing for the confusion with Grim Grimoire pre-orders. Buying the .pdf guide is not mandatory to receive the pre-order bonus. If customers (us) like, we can receive a refund on the .PDF guide.

But the reason they spilt the pre-order bonuses up (postcard book + DVD) is because they do not have enough to fullfill each order.

I understood that when I placed my pre-order this morning. Honestly, the DVD doesn't sound all too appealing but I can understand why completists want it. Anyways, I chose the Post-Card book.
