You can probably find the poster's image on the internet for free; granted, it won't be as big as the poster, but you can at least as make it as big as a printed sheet of paper: 8.5' x 11'

NISA is greatly overestimating the otaku (obsessive) / financial status of their audience.

Well people were begging for premium boxes forever, and now that NISA delivered, people are complaining about it costing too much.

Still holding my breath for the other Marl Kingdom games.

For me it's just got too much stuff I don't really want. A nice box is the game, an artbook, and maybe a OST. I don't really need (or want) a guide or two shirts. But of course I have to buy all that to get the nice poster. And now it's sad to see that the Disgaea package, while being much cheaper, is not much better.

We did offer to provide other retail stores bonus items as part of a preorder campaign, but they declined to carry them, so we felt it would be unfair (to our fans who cannot order from RosenQueen for various reasons) for RosenQueen to include bonus items.

As for the Ultimate Set, we were under the impression that our fans would like the chance to purchase all of the merchandise related to Soul Nomad, and receive two free posters, as well as a discount on the set. We apologize for not meeting all of your expectations. We will do our best to meet your demands with our future releases.

Sincerely,

RosenQueen

Actually, it's not that it costs too much. It's that when you pay for a game with that much money, you expect a hard limit, a numbered case, and specific items (more than one thing) that are only available in that one box.

Basically, I'd fork over $150 EASY if it were limited to say 200 copies (numbered), in a nice ltd case, and had say a t-shirt, poster, and soundtrack maybe with unique cover art, all limited.

Hell, you could sell me half as much and charge the same if there were hard limits attached. I think that and the lack of exclusivity on most of those items were my biggest problem with it.

And it's not about demands, it's just about where I'm willing to put my money and I put a LOT of money into games, particularly NISA games.
