I heard someone over on another message board saying that there was save game corruption on the 60 gig.

That is possible, I've had that happen in AI3 and Mana Khemia, but fortunately every time I play I also back my data up on a memory card.

I'm just paranoid around hard drives--they crash.

I didn't have any problems saving in AT2 though.

Only works on the 60GB PS3. 80GB is not 100% backwards compatible and the newer titles for PS2 are almost likely not going to work on it.
