La Pucelle Japanese re-release
Does anyone at NIS America know whether the Japanese re-release of La Pucelle will be able to read or convert the save file of the original Japanese release?

Re: La Pucelle Japanese re-release
If I might add another question to the staff:
Is there any chance that the Japanese re-release will also ship over to the US or even Europe?

Re: La Pucelle Japanese re-release
Mastiff localized La Pucelle for North America. You could try emailing them at mastiff-games.com.

Y'know, I'd rather have NISAmerica do a proper re-localisation than have to do anything with Mastiff ever again.
My heart aches every time when I think about what they did to the game...
The chances of any company re-localizing the entire thing just to throw in a few more dungeons seem unbelievably slim.

Re: La Pucelle Japanese re-release
Just a few minutes ago, being bored, I decided to go on a random picture hunt. Thinking I might find some nifty stuff on the japanese NIS page. I found a link to the re-release's page.
http://www.nippon1.co.jp/contents/game/lapu_r/index.html
If you look at the cover art, it's similar to the Disgaea instruction book art. I couldn't find a bigger picture since that tiny one is all that was on the site (as far as I could tell). So if anyone knows where a bigger version is lemme know cause I want it >.> But yeah, you can also see some stuff that was thrown in. Nifty sound test menu eh? Well whatever. Just felt like sharing.

Hah, that's pretty interesting. I can't tell, but was that artwork done by the Disgaea/Phantom Brave Artist(who was it, Ryoji, I think)? I think they also used that Disgaea image for the Japanese special edition cover.

Re: La Pucelle Japanese re-release
Ya know I never really thought about it... If you look at the main page ( http://www.nippon1.co.jp/main.html ) then you can check there for a portion of the pic (slightly enlarged) but it's still too small for me to really tell.

Re: La Pucelle Japanese re-release
This reply is for Daverost If you are looking for the cover art for that La Pucelle re-release; I have a 1607x1080 pixel jpeg of it. It is very high quality. I found it while digging thru the NIS jap. website. If you look real hard you'll find it. Otherwise I could just email it to you or something?
