Power Leveling?

I just beat the game last night (yay! I've had it since release >.> ) and my Prier was level... 39 I think? with a base attack of 550-560ish. I have 6 characters with Braveheart. And so I'm here to ask. What's a good way to level up a good bit to tackle the rest of the Cave of Trials, Baal, and get Prier's titles? I'd like to PL Prier and Homard as much as possible rather soon while I wait on my copy of Phantom Brave, because after that it won't get a lot of time on my PS2. Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Stupid posticons.

So far the only "power leveling" strategy I know is the one the player's guide suggested. Attacking and killing off you own party with one character and then having one character retreat to the world map. I have never tried this yet as I just got the game not too long ago. I am only on Chapter five right now.

8/ well...
The fastest way to hit high levels is to kill eachother, taking turns (also good for building funds and dark index). Try to get strong enough to beat Monster and Giant Thing at your first encounter to get angel shoes & goddess ring (lv 60-70 is good)

Raise customer rank, buy good stuff, power it up in caveoftrials2, combine, repeat, be careful, dood!
Once you have solid equip't, continue killing eachother until strong enough to take on critters in cave of trials 5 (not necessarily zombie king) keep killing weaker bosses there until lv range 100-200

then, dark world is a viable option (but good eqpt is critical!). use braveheart to takle those big500demonlords(!) (you can also get some cool items in darkworld)

After that, recruit some boss monsters (Cave o Ts and Darkworld are good) and continue to kill eachother till range 400-500 (and above), the rest is just breaking stuff :)

Unfortunately, power leveling in la pucelle is much slower than in disgaea (well it feels slower without transmigration, dood) good luck! 8)

It's possible to recruit boss monsters?

Yup!
Once you have defeated several Level 500 Demon Lords in the Dark World, you'll receive a special ending where Prier receives the title of Demon Lord. You can then purify and recruit certain boss monsters.

Though I made a mistake. You can't recruit Dark World monsters (I've heard of people having Haniwa in their party, but I think they're full of it!). Purifying Dark World monsters does increase the chances of them dropping their equipment when you kill them, though.

And can't recruit just any ol' boss monster. Only non-unique ones, like Hekatoncheirs, Succubi, and Chimeras.
Once you have some in your party, kill 'em repeatedly, and you'll level up like crazy!

You can recruit Haniwas, but they're the only monster from the Dark World that you can. I haven't had much luck doing it though, because I either kill them too fast by accident or just don't have enough purification power. Generally the latter.

Oh, really? I've never been able to get one. I purify them and everything, but they refuse to join me. I think they just hate me emoticon lol

How much Purification Power do I need, in relative to the strength of the Haniwa, to be able to convert it?

No idea. I think I pumped around 2000 into one and couldn't get it. But it was one from a 300 DEI world.

To capture haniwa, have one relatively weak charechter equip a Bustier, which has 100% Purify as a special ability, and then fill the other 3 slots with as much HIT as you can (ie Lots of Glasses) Have that person attack the Haniwa and if he doesnt miss, the haniwa will be instantly purified, Kill it and you'll have a pet haniwa and get all 4 of it's items too

Warning, Haniwa collecting becomes an addiction - each one is unique!
